I am a civil engineer and I hold a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration. I'm a delay and disruption expert, an expert determiner, adjudicator, and arbitrator. I bring over 20 years of experience in the time and commercial management of construction projects and a robust programming and project controls practice. I provide back-end services for dispute resolution purpose. I also provide front-end and project delivery implementation and advisory services. On the back end, I am an expert determiner and a registered adjudicator in NSW, QLD, WA, and NT. I decide variety of construction disputes, including technical, engineering and design, commercial, defects, delay and disruption, amongst other commercial and contractual matters, with experience in civil infrastructure, buildings, rail, renewable energy, and LNG Jetty. I also provide expert evidence and expert witness on programming, delays & disruption, EOT claims, technical and engineering, variation claims and the resulting quantum of loss and damage whether for breach of contract or under the contract mechanism. These matters require a cause-and-effect analysis, which includes identifying the events and examining their root causes. On the front end and project delivery: I provide all time management related services, including planning and scheduling, preparation and assessment of EOT claims. My services involve the following: • Integrated planning, scheduling and project controls - this includes preparation of the baseline programme and subsequent updates all through to the as-built programme. Also developing the Key Performance Indicators and setting up Earned Value Management systems for progress monitoring and control. • Contemporaneous delay and disruption analysis - this is normally bound by what the contract dictates and the context surrounding the available records; • Advisory service for alternative dispute resolution purposes in any tier of the ADR processes (adjudication, expert determination, mediation and arbitration) and at any stage during a project life cycle.
