About my services

David is a member of Resolution Institute, a Harvard trained Mediator with 29 years rural and commercial experience. Nationally Accredited in both Australia and NZ he represented NSW at the International Conference of Jurists in Mumbai in 2017 presenting on Farm Debt Mediation.

David acted as a consultant for the NZ Government on the introduction of the Farm Debt Mediation Act 2019 and reviewed the proposed Farm Debt Mediation Scheme for MPI to see it met the administrative requirements of the Farm Debt Mediation Act 2019.

David has contributed to international mediation initiatives including the Mexican Government and rural suicide prevention strategies for the Maharashtra State Government, where he represented NSW at the International Conference of Jurists in Mumbai in 2017.



Published works on conflict include Co-Author of the International No 1 Bestseller “Avoid Retirement And Stay Alive” Harper Collins, and ‘Author of the Month’ for “What’s Keeping You Awake at Night?”

Experience and qualifications

Prior to becoming a fulltime mediator was for many years the Chief Manager Legal and Recoveries for National Australia Bank in NZ and in that role dealt with most forms of debt and debt related securities. I have been a member of the NZ Credit and Finance Institute for 31 years and was heavily involved in earlier reconstructions that have taken place in the rural industry in NZ including the sale of the Rural Bank.
