Individuals and institutions that recognised the power of ritual and utilised it effectively have become among the most powerful in our world. Research into the ritual mechanism found that it creates a space that is extraordinary to everyday life, enabling people to lower their defences and view the situation in a new light. Yet mediators are rarely taught how to use ritual in the mediation process, thereby missing out on a powerful tool. Our Speaker

Nurit Zubery Mediator | LLM (Hons), PRI, AAMINZ, FDRP

Nurit is a mediator, researcher, and accredited Family Dispute Resolution Provider. She completed a Master of Laws at Auckland University Law School, specialising in mediation, and undertook a qualitative research project examining fathers' experiences of family mediation. Nurit thrives on knowledge and is fascinated by how the dispute resolution process works, often delving into academic research on its various aspects. Apart from cooking, sharing this knowledge is her greatest passion. Nurit lives in Auckland and practises family mediation within New Zealand's FDR system.
