New Ways for Mediation
A Breakthrough Approach for Managing High Conflict Disputes

Join us for this full-day training to gain valuable skills in conflict resolution. Listen to Bill talking about his workshop here:

High conflict disputes are different. They often involve one or more individuals with a pattern of high conflict behavior, characterized by all-or-nothing thinking, unmanaged emotions, extreme behavior, and preoccupation with blaming others. In this full-day training, Bill Eddy and Shiv Martin will provide a basic background in managing high conflict individuals in any setting, including conciliation, negotiation, investigation and decision-making. Then they will present this new approach to mediating their disputes, called New Ways for Mediation®. The structure and skills emphasized in this method will be explained and then practiced with role-play exercises. The training will be based on Bill’s book Mediating High Conflict Disputes and will include PowerPoint presentation, video clips, practice exercises, and opportunities for questions and discussion throughout. The methods taught in this training can be helpful in any conflict resolution setting.
